For over 30 years I have watched an amazing friendship between four people,(for those that dont know Im talking about my mum and dad (Gina and Johnny) and John and Maggie) I have seen firsthand the love for each other and what friendship truly means, being there in the bad times and sharing the good times, holding hands and wiping tears and laughing so much that you have to rush to the toilet. Growing up I was lucky enough to be around this incredible friendship, I remember as a teenager talking to Margaret about boyfriends and sharing books. I remember rushing home from a night out or staying in just because I knew Margaret and John would be with my Mum and Dad playing trivial pursuits and I had more fun with them than I did out in the pub. An amazing, strong, beautiful and funny lady that I have so many happy memories of I have been lucky that Margaret was part of my childhood and I am honoured that in adulthood she was my friend.
